Allyssa Raspa

Biography

Allyssa Raspa is a paralegal at The Law Office of J. Ryan Johnson, having joined the firm in July 2023. She holds a degree in Legal Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and brings extensive experience in legal research, case management, document preparation, and client communication. Prior to joining the firm, Allyssa briefly worked at Hughes & Coleman and then further developed her legal career at Cheatham Palermo & Garrett for four years, where she refined her legal skills, contributed to positive client outcomes, and gained invaluable insights from her esteemed colleagues.

Originally from Nashville and raised in Cleveland, TN, Allyssa has a strong passion for Ultimate Frisbee. At the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, she played for the women’s Ultimate Frisbee team, “Moxie,” for all four years, holding leadership roles throughout her entire tenure. She served as team captain during her final two years, guiding the team to success and fostering a collaborative and competitive environment. After college, Allyssa continued her involvement in the sport by playing semi-professionally with Nashville’s “Nightshade” team for two seasons. She also competed at Nationals 2022 with the Huntsville, AL mixed team, “Space Force,” and continues to compete in various local and nationwide events with several club teams.

Outside of work, Allyssa enjoys cooking, baking, reading, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her cat, Lola.
